This course examines the substantive legal issues concerning Aquaculture and th e Coastal Zone. Legal aspects of Aquaculture related to ownership and boundarie s in the coastal zone, legal and regulatory constraints, international consider ation private and public rights, risks and incentives. Fish and shellfish as pe rsonal property and conservation laws affecting the fish farmer.
