Overview
Associated with the Department of Biomedical Engineering's graduate program in Medical Physics, the University of Miami offers a Certificate Program in Medical Physics. The Certificate Program is accredited by CAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs) and is a non-degree granting program. The objective of this two-semester program is to allow qualified individuals who are enrolled in PhD programs or have already received a PhD degree in Physics, Engineering or a related field with a physics-minor-equivalent background to transition into a career in medical physics.
Admission Requirements
Applicants are required have obtained a bachelor's degree and either be enrolled in a PhD program or have received a PhD degree.
