Overview
Nutrition science helps people understand how food impacts health and how it can be used not only to fuel our physical and athletic endeavors, but to help prevent and manage chronic disease. It helps us make informed decisions about what to eat, which can lead to improved health outcomes. The Nutrition Science Minor emphasizes nutrition for optimal health and human performance, disease prevention, improved quality of life and longevity.
