Overview
The American Sign Language and Deaf Culture Minor will allow students to apply knowledge of American Sign Language and Deaf Culture to a variety of settings, develop a strong understanding of receptive and expressive signing skills, and display communication competence in American Sign Language. This Minor will enable students to build a strong foundation in American Sign Language; however, it does not lead to interpreter or to Deaf Education licensing or certification.
