Under some circumstances, prospective students who plan to earn their high school diploma on an accelerated timeline may apply for admission to the University of Miami, provided they demonstrate a level of maturity and academic readiness commensurate to that of other admitted students. Early admission candidates must provide additional information to the Office of Undergraduate Admission to further demonstrate their potential to thrive in a rigorous postsecondary school environment and show the capacity to contribute to a dynamic campus community.

In addition to the documents that are listed in the First-Year Admission Requirements section, students who will graduate from a U.S. high school in three years or less are required to interview in person or remotely with a member of the Admission Committee or University community.
