Overview

The Minor in Applied Data Analytics and Intelligence for Social Impact (A-DAISI) equips undergraduate students across all disciplines with essential skills in data analysis, computational thinking, and programming—preparing them to harness data for informed, ethical, and impactful decision-making. The program targets students in social and behavioral sciences, sports administration, public health, education, political science, and more, who seek to become data-informed decision-makers, advocates, and researchers.

Graduation Requirements

To successfully complete the DAISI Minor, students must meet the following graduation requirements:

  • Credit Hours
    • Completion of a minimum of 15 credit hours in approved coursework for the minor.
  • Grade Requirements
    • A minimum grade of C must be earned in each course counted toward the minor.

    • Students must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 across all minor coursework. 

  • Integration with Major Program

    • Courses used to fulfill major requirements will not be double-counted toward the minor unless explicitly allowed by both programs.
