Overview
The Minor in Human Performance Data Analytics is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with the skills to interpret and apply data to optimize human performance. This program addresses the demand for professionals who can derive actionable insights from a wide spectrum of data, including physiological, biomechanical, and behavioral metrics. Students will move "beyond Moneyball," utilizing sophisticated analytical techniques and programming languages like Python, R, and SQL to uncover insights that shape training, mitigate injury risk, and enhance well-being. The curriculum combines core coursework in statistical programming, machine learning, and behavioral analytics with specialized electives in wearable technology and health data management. This minor provides a competitive advantage for students in fields such as sports administration, exercise science, athletes, rehabilitation, and physical therapy preparing them to become leaders in the rapidly evolving world of performance analytics. Therefore, students in physical therapy, sports administration, applied physiology, and business would be particularly interested in this minor.

To successfully complete the DAISI Minor, students must meet the following graduation requirements:
