Overview

In this unique dual degree program between the Miami Herbert Business School and the School of Nursing and Health Studies, a Master of Science in Leadership is embedded the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) curriculum so that students can earn both degrees within three years.

Admission Requirements

Admissions requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or entry-level Master’s degree in nursing from a regionally-accredited institution
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for the Bachelor's degree and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for the Master's degree
  • Introductory statistics course
  • Two letters of recommendation 
  • Statement of professional goals
  • Current CV/Resume
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a health care setting
  • Current, unencumbered RN license to practice nursing in the state of Florida or the state/territory of current practice
