Minor Area of Specialization in Business Analytics for BBA and BSAF Students (STEM)
Miami Herbert Business School BBA and BSAF students who choose the minor area of specialization in Business Analytics are trained to combine statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence tools and techniques to help businesses understand, predict, and act on large amounts of data, improving decision-making in increasingly complex and interconnected business environments.

All courses must be taken within the current prerequisite structure. There may be additional prerequisites for some courses. MAS 110 or MTH 161 or equivalent may be used to satisfy the calculus prerequisite needed to pursue this minor.

Note: All specific coursework for the minor in Business Analytics must be completed with a grade of “C-” or better. In addition, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required for all specific coursework taken in the minor area of specialization.
No course may double count in any other major, minor, or cognate.
