Overview

A minor in Italian consists of 12 credit hours starting with ITA 202.  Students must earn a grade of C- or higher in every course counting toward the minor, and with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 in the minor.

You do not have to be a student at the College of Arts and Sciences for the minor in Italian; you need only the approval of your college or school advisor and to complete the departmental requirements.

Students with transfer credit hours must take at least 6 graded credit hours at the 300- and 400-level at the University of Miami.  3 credit hours of the minor may be earned through transfer equivalency.
